EnSolv-5408 Cleaning Solvent is the ONLY n-Propyl Bromide based solvent approved by Boeing for their BAC5408 Cleaning Specification.

EnSolv-5408 is a direct replacement for Trichloroethylene, Perchloroethylene and other hazardous chlorinated solvents that have been traditionally used for vapor degreasing in the Aerospace Industry. EnSolv-5408 Cleaning Solvent is specifically formulated to provide no compromise, high performance cleaning without the hazardous material and carcinogenic issues associated with other solvents.

EnSolv-5408 Cleaning Solvent is used by military and commercial aircraft MRO stations as well as aircraft manufacturing facilities for many cleaning applications. These include the cleaning of oxygen systems, metal and composite honeycomb, titanium parts, hydraulics, landing gear, turbine components and electronic avionics systems.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: On March 21, 2008, Boeing St. Louis (McDonald-Douglas) approved EnSolv-5408 Precision Solvent to their PS 12020 Rev. Y Aerospace Vapor Degreasing Specification. EnSolv-5408 is the only nPB degreasing solvent approved for commercial and/or military applications.
